PITANGA ASSOCIATION – COEXISTENCE IN DIVERSITY

The association’s objective is the promotion of cultural, professional and social integration, in addition to a respectful coexistence of people from different cultures and countries of origin.
The name “Pitanga” refers to a South American tropical fruit. Though not native to Austria, it thrives in the latter’s latitudes more than ever stronger, sweeter and more beautiful, provided that it is given enough dedication, time and attention. Immigrants and refugees from afar and from other cultures can also take root in other regions and adopt the local culture if they find favorable structural conditions.
